Cabinets are painstakingly traced and detailed parts plans are created. The purpose of this site is to preserve the game cabinets. The end result is that often you can find parts for a game, but not actually the game cabinet. When these cabinets get scrapped, many time they are scavenged for parts and the parts are put on a shelf. Add into the equation 40+ years of warehousing costs, water damage, humidity, transportation, and it is not surprising that many of the earlier cabinets have been scrapped when they start to fall apart. The cabinets were produced with the cheapest materials possible and never intended to last. Video arcade games have been around since the early 1970s. The purpose of this website is to preserve the "arcade cabinets".
